erth werm is a new and very small startup, founded by James Colistra.  Growing up in Upstate New York just below the Adirondack Mountains and spending time in the summer on Cape Cod, James has always loved the outdoors.  It is through that love that he came up with the idea of selling products that will help to protect this great earth.

The name was chosen due to the fact that the actual earthworm organism is small, but through its collective efforts provides great benefits to the earth's soil and thus to agriculture.  The goal of erth werm is to also provide benefits to the earth through the collective efforts of its customers.  The quirky spelling?  Well, why not?

erth werm is not just a company that sells products.  It is a company that strives to convince other people and also corporations that a little bit can go a long way in helping to better the environment.  In the early stages of the company's development, 25% of all proceeds will go to environmental causes, such as cleaning the oceans and reducing global warming.  As erth werm progresses, more and more resources will be allocated to non-profits.
